Magnet Programs
Dance
Our specialized dance program offers comprehensive training and instruction in all genres of dance, emphasizing modern technique ballet, and musical theatre, while preparing students for participation in musical theatre productions. Dance students also develop proficiency in various stage production skill sets.
Theatre
The department of Theatre focuses on public speaking skills to recount stories,
address problems, and promote creative thinking and real-world perspectives.
Additionally, students will participate in stage rehearsals to prepare for the annual showcase.

Art
Artistic training encompasses drawing, sculpture, painting, and set building. Skills are introduced through a sequential progression that also integrates art history and vocabulary.
Strings
Strings instruction includes Violin, Cello, Bass, Guitar, and Ukulele. Playing strings instruments develops the whole brain through reading music, memorizing and embellishing performances.
Band
Band instruction includes Brass, Woodwind, and Percussion instruments. students are evaluated in the areas of sightreading, tone production and
performance practice.
